Fireplace & Media Feature Wall
A built-out feature wall with a recessed TV, electric fireplace, stacked stone surround and textured 3D panels up to the sloped ceiling.
The Build
What we did in Cambridge, MA
The wall followed a sloped ceiling line, so the whole feature was built out from the framing up rather than applied flat. We framed the new wall to follow the ceiling, set the openings for the wall-mounted TV and the linear electric fireplace, and ran the wiring for the backlighting behind the panel. The finished wall pairs a matte black recess with white geometric 3D panels on both sides and a stacked ledger stone surround around the fireplace, tied together with LED lighting in the recess and the fireplace insert.
