Tiled Stairs Demolished & Wooden Staircase Rebuilt
Old tile-over-concrete steps torn out and replaced with a new wooden staircase, finished with white risers and sealed wood treads.

The Build
What we did in Cambridge, MA
The entry steps had failed: ceramic tile was cracking and breaking away from the concrete base, leaving loose edges and exposed mortar. We demolished the old tile and concrete stairs, cleared and rebuilt the base, then set new treads in a warm wood finish with metallic nosing on solid white risers and stringers. The wood was sanded and sealed, and the surrounding walls and trim were prepped and repainted for a clean, finished landing.
